I really enjoyed this combination Bosch/Lincoln Lawyer story, and hope this is a new beginning for both series. The two half-brothers have good chemistry working together. Excellent page Turner.

The beginning section of this novel is so boring that if you weren't already tuned into the main characters Bosch and Haller, you would probably not read on.

However, once the investigation really gets going and the courtroom fights begin, the book takes off and becomes extremely compelling.

Bosch does not come off well in this book, in my opinion. He has an irrationally severe bias against helping anyone who may have been railroaded by the justice system. And Haller loses emotional control too easily.

Nevertheless, once the storyline gets going in earnest, this is an exciting read.

Reading one of Michael Connelly's books featuring Mickey Haller and Harry Bosch is a sure thing. Readers are guaranteed a roller coaster ride story showcasing how brilliant these two men are at ferreting out the truth and successfully getting justice. I also like how Connelly has dealt with the aging Harry Bosch. Yes, his advancing years are affecting him, but he's still more than capable of playing a vital role in any pursuit of truth. And as far as Mickey Haller is concerned, by the book's end, he's reached a crossroads, and I'm looking forward to seeing which road he takes.

I don't care what format I choose to read Connelly's books. Still, after having enjoyed Amazon's TV series, Bosch, I have to admit that I have a bit of a preference for the audiobook version so I can listen to Titus Welliver. (Love his voice!)

Are you in the mood for a compelling investigation and riveting courtroom drama? Get your hands on Resurrection Walk.

This may be the best of both series, Bosch & Haller! Love both of these series & I think Michael Connelly has surpassed himself with this book.

With over 28,000 ratings, a description of the plot would be redundant. However, the Lincoln Lawyer and Harry Bosch are heading in a new direction. As Harry Bosch deals with his cancer, Mickey Haller has become emotionally hooked on helping wrongfully-convicted persons go back to court. When convicts are freed, they go on their 'resurrection walk.' I expect that to be the focus of future books. I've read this series since the beginning and still think it is one of the best. Long live Michael Connelly.
