I am definitely "pizza-ed out" after this fourth in the series. The first and second were ok, by this one,...forget it. I RARELY feel like I just can't wait to be done with a book, and just skim the whole second half to see 'who done it' and say I did the best I could. But this book dragged insufferable. The murder itself in the very beginning had barely happened, and the two main characters were like : OK, lets get this solved! There was no build up, no affect, no horror, no slow involvement into the sleuthing, Just a jump right in, and oh, by the way, the sheriff asks Eleanor and Maddy for their unskilled and untrained opinions..VERY hard to put any kind of credibility, even fictional into anything this book was about. The same as the other books, the girls claim a paycheck to paycheck money situation, but everyone they meet is given an offer of 'come on by! Get a free pizza at our place.." It got old in the second in the series, now it's ludicrous. The sister's personalities were not even very charming or likable in this installation of this series,...I am for sure done with it.
Not the best in the series....Eleanore and Maddy are involved in another murder...this time the body is found in "The Slice"...skewered with one of Elllie's knives...but they are not suspects this time.....in this addition Maddy has to decide if she is going to accept her boyfriend's marriage proposal......
