"Closing the gap" is a phrase often heard in education, but what does that mean in everyday, practical terms? While there is do denying the importance that is being placed on bringing low-performing students up to the level of their peers, the reality is that few programs are specifically designed to raise the achievement level of struggling early readers. This program will assist teachers to accomplish just that.

While this book is primarily focused on struggling readers, the material is so well written, and contains everything that could be used to supplement reading instruction for any child.
