So personally I was very excited about this book it had a great idea but I feel as though the author left out crucial information and it just left me disappointed. The story is about a society that resets every four years. All memories are erased (except the ones that are essential like how to read and write ect) The book starts off at the end of one of these cycles with a couple very much in love and who dont want to be parted but it is inevitable. Then it skips into the 2 separate lives of the couples near the end of the the new cycle and how the 2 "find" each other again. It leaves out information on how certain things happened like how one of them became a Sandman and what was the ultimate point only to remember so you would forget again? It makes no sense to me. There are just way too many gaps and its sad because this book had a lot of potential.
