I loved this book. It's a pretty, easy and fast read, but wow the impression it left!

Very enjoyable. It is about a difficult time in the author's life, but I did notfind the story too horrifically gut-wrenching (something I have trouble with in books about people who have terrible struggles).

On the lines of The Glass Castle, but not quite as well written. I did find it fascinating and give kudos to this author and her sister for surviving and becoming the wonderful people they are given their tramatic childhood.

Wow! What a sad, compelling story! It really made me rethink my attitudes toward the mentally challenged, and their suffering families.

Excellent! This is such a great book! A narrative about growing up with a psychotic disturbed mother. It is not about Patty Hearst at all! A worthwhile read!
