This book was a well written piece of fiction. It was kind of hard to follow toward the end, but all in all was a fairly good book.

286 pages 8/28/98 With a science fiction publisher and the subheading 'a dark fantasy of miracles and madness,' this novel isn't easy to type, except as a very good novel. Tom Webster quits his teaching job and moves from Britain to Jerusalem after the sudden and tragic death of his wife. But he's having hallucinations, visions, or perhaps he's seeing djinn and ghosts. Ghosts of his wife and of Mary Magdalene who has her own story to tell of betrayal. This novel has two different plots and time periods. Well worth reading.
