My kids enjoyed this book!
So I analyzed the situation,and here's what I came up with:
1. I had a gand of grown-ups thinking about my grades
2. Plus they were all convinced I was an idiot

my "picky" daughter actually flew threw this one with no complaints or procrastination at nightly reading time. scholastic, check out "frindle," another by clements that is great reading.
Really great book!
An excellent read by an excellent author - seek out his other books!
My kids eagerly read all of the Andrew Clements books!!!
