Good read, much better than the previous book [Immortal Hunter]. Nicholas [introduced in the previous book] was a good hero and Jo was a more 'together' heroine than some of the others in this series. Unfortunately, to create the situations where our hero comes to her rescue the other Hunters have to appear pretty incompetent. [Let's just say I wouldn't want to rely on them to protect MY body from hungry bad guys...] And then there's another semi-cliffhanger ending which apparently is quite popular now but I find quite annoying. For me they'd be much better off just putting a teaser chapter in the back of the book.

I really enjoyed this one. Wish Lynsay Sands spent a little more time with Jo's and Nickolas romance, and yes the ending was abrupt. Loved the incident involving Lucian though. Still looking forward to reading her next Argeneau book.

I really enjoyed reading this book. Was not happy how it ended with you wanting more. I can't wait to read more Argeneau Vampire books. You have to read 10 and 11 before reading this one to read the Hunter books and understand the plot. Reading all 12 is the best way to know who all the family members are.

I liked the book. The main character, Jo, was funny and fiesty. Nicholas was heroic. Didn't answer many questions you have about the series and added more. The end was abrupt. It wasn't a well planned cliff hanger. I enjoyed the story up until the end.

Very enjoyable installment of the series. Nicholas is a former enforcer considered rogue for 50 years. Jo is Sam's sister. Sam wants her sisters to find lifemates so that she can turn and be with Mortimer. Nicholas rescues Jo from a true rogue. Witty banter and strong characters. The scenes with Jo and Lucian are a hoot. 4 stars

Bleh! This book didn't do it for me. I've liked Lynsay Sands books in the past but this one missed the mark, in my opinion. The characters are two dimensional. You don't really get to know who this couple is or what their backgrounds are, where they're "coming from" etc. The plot is simplistic and boring. The chemistry between the h/h is flat...no fizz. I was VERY disappointed in this book.

This book was different from the rest. It still has the same bad guys from the two previous books, but it gives insite to whats going on between the two groups. I really wish she would have said why Nicholas was innocent, or who tried to frame him. I also like the fact that JO was spikey and different, not just has a loud mouth for nothing.

The story of Nicholas and Jo. IMO, these two really clicked, and complimented each other. I was really pleased to see Marguerite and many of the others brought in towards the end. I like reading series and it seems some authors are trying to write stand alone books that are in fact, part of a series. In this book most of the Argeneau Family was there. The cliff-hanger ending was disappointing. I was plowing through this book to find out the 'Why' and didn't get it. Hopefully it will be in the next one.

I really looked forward to this book, I really enjoy reading the entire series. However, my expectations were high with Nicholas and Jo, but I was disappointed. I liked parts of the book, but the ending was too abrupt and I felt like Ms Sands said, "whoops, time to end it no matter what!"

*** SPOILER ALERT****

An okay book but it could've been better. The sex scenes were hot but the over-all story was a disappointment and there were many lose threads. I realize these are just modern day "penny-dreadfuls" and no one is expecting literature or much talent but I at least expect the story to actually have an ending.

The primary focus of the book is trying to prove Nicholas Argeneau innocent of a crime. Instead of breaking free and proving himself innocent the accused allows himself to be locked in a cell with his girlfriend. They wait two weeks without drama and are told at the end. You're innocent and Uncle Lucien is coming to tell us all about it. That's how it ends. The plot centered around proving this guy innocent, although, the protagonists did precious little investigating. Instead the story was dominated by a sub-plot where some random rogue with daddy issues keeps showing up to kidnap the girl. Everything was a little too easy and too convenient. Still, as I mentioned before, the book is not literature its a quick vacation from thinking. Really, its just the ending that ruined the book.

I enjoyed this 12th addition to the Argeneau series and would have read it in one sitting if I didn't have to go to work. The story concentrated on the "Rogue Argeneau" Nicholas that we read about in previous books. The story was fast paced with very few extra storylines, it was strictly the lifemates Nicholas & Jo and the mystery of why Nicholas was classified as a "rogue". I liked Jo. She is smart, feisty and in your face even up against head honcho Lucien when she sets out to prove that Nicholas is not a rogue. Nicholas keeps rescueing her when she gets into trouble. The ending was rather abrupt and really didn't solve the mystery so we have to wait for the next book to actually find the end to this story.

You would think after 12 of these books that I would grow tired of them. While they do have a very similar plot point, immortal finds lifemate, etc, each book and characters are very different and somehow each book ends up being fresh and fun.

I really enjoyed this installment in the Argeneau series. Jo and Nicholas were both great characters. I really loved Jo, she was so sassy and funny and smart. She kept Nicholas on his toes, and that's hard to do with someone who is centuries old. This one had the great twist of trying to figure out why Nicholas had become and rogue, and then trying to figure what exactly happened all those years ago, and if all the suspicious blanks could make a difference.

Overall, this book was light and funny, but still managed to be full of action and mystery. I love how the characters from other books in the series always seem to play into the new books so that you can see how each of their lives are progressing, without the story feeling overdone or becoming boring. If Lynsay Sands keeps making them so fresh then I'm sure to stick with this series for a long time to come.

Yes I know the book hasn't been published yet, but I love it already, lol. One of the Argeneaus is a ROGUE!!!! How great is that, considering the family is famous for being rogue hunters. Cannot wait to sink my little claws into this book. Now stop everything you're doing right now, even reading this, and go pre-order or put this puppy on your wish list, because this is going to be a great read.
