With all the trials and tribulations of global bicycle touring, you'd think this man must be crazy - maybe you do have to be a bit nuts to go off on a trip like this. Swamps, dunes, mountains, jungles, snakes are all there. Certainly an excitiing way to see the world. If you like cycling, though, this is a very interesting book. It's a bit dated, written in 1978, but many of these remote locations have changed little since then.
