Interesting read...makes you stop and think about who you are and how much your family is responsible for how you turned out.

This novel starts with an interesting premise: exactly who you are, and how your world is shaped by "who" you truly are. It is a story about Jonah, Loomis, Troy, Nora and how their lives are inexorably tied together. Each has a story to tell and you get to know each person well. It leaves you a bit melancholy when it's over; I'd say it's just an okay read.

Very interesting story - different than anything else I've read in a while. The book can be sad, heartbreaking, and hopeful. I recommend it.

I read this and kept waiting for some big revelation or plot twist, but truly nothing really happened. It was an interesting read and plays on the issues of choice, fate and circumstance, because of the adoptive situation in the book, but didn't really seem to "move" anywhere.

I really enjoyed this book! Its about all these characters and how their lives intertwine. It makes you think about how your life and the lives of your loved ones could have been different. Nature vs nurture is always a curiosity to me. I read this straight through. Definitely recomend this one.

Follow the intertwined plots of each of the characters lives and explore such questions as idenity, fate and circumstance. This is an unforgetable story that sticks with you long after you finish the book.
A young boy mauled by his grandfather's doberman, a pregnant teen, the disapperance of a little boy from his grandmother's backyard and a young man drifts towards a career as a drug dealer. Why do we become who we become? Can we change our destiny?

AWESOME- Had to read the whole thing in one night I could not put it downm
This book is very engaging - a real page turner. I found it to be a little disturbing and very sad, as some of the characters were just so damaged. I was interested in their fates until the very end.
This is one of the most melancholy books I've ever read! Every single character is lost and trapped in unfulfilling lives. That being said, it was very well-written and kept me absorbed, if hoping for a speck of redemption...
What a journey into these people's lives. The auhor is a Cleveland boy, so he's great in my book!!!
"One of the author's many gifts is his ability to probe deeply and delicately into sorrow. This gift serves him beautifully in You Remind Me of Me, a novel about adoption, about the quiet sadness that lies at the bottom of all his characters' troubles." (Jane Hamilton, author of Map of the World)
This book was interesting, not a feel good summer read but well written with very intersting charachters!
