Translated by Robert W. Lawson. Since it says virtually everyone can understand this writing, I will not comment beyond saying this is not especially light reading.

The theories are explained through simplified examples of space and time. While I found this to be interesting, the math was beyond me.

An excellent book on physics that anybody can understand. Einstein was a genius to discover this stuff, but he shows that it doesn't take an Einstein to comprehend it. He uses analogies and "thought experiments" to illustrate the theories, as well as explain the math behind them. A great book for anyone interested in how the universe works.

A popular exposition by Albert Einstein with an authorised translation by Robert W Lawson.
It is the most definitive collection of Einstein's popular writings gathered under the supervision of Einstein himself. It ranges from earliest days to the moment of the book (1952).
