Absolutely adorable. GREAT illustrations, fun story. Adults enjoy it as much as children which is the sign of a great story.

This was a wonderful book to use as a read aloud demonstrating making connections. The students loved it.
A child tells the story of summers long ago, when a carful of relatives would load up the car and drive for days to come visit. They'd stay for weeks, sleep on the floor, help around the farm, and then head home. Sweet and nostalgic.

Very well dont book.. great story, great pictures. I would keep this book but I dont have a large family and it doesnt fit here.. the family in this book is HUGE
