I found "The Rehearsal" to be so-so. The pace is slow and I had some trouble remembering who-was-who when it came to the male actors. None of the characters, with the exception of Nate, was particularly memorable or likable. I also felt that the book ended abruptly. However, the story wasn't too bad and is a good look at small theatre companies.
