A set of short stories about Rahel (a Proctor for Noah's Arc) and her assignments to investigate animals and their habitats.
I loved the premise and the characters were well developed and interesting. The stories and plots are interesting without trivializing the animals or shoving extremist Green doctrine in your face. The ending of the fourth story was a bit abrupt - I feel like there should be a sequel to it or something - but overall I really liked this book.
If you have ever been to the San Diego Zoo/Wild Animal Park and been interested in their quest to save endangered species, then you must read this book.
