My favorite in the anthology was the first novella. I thought the writing was strong and the concept was executed well (wounded soldier falls for his caregiver-only in this case it was years later). The middle installment seemed average; I've read stronger work by Amanda McCabe. And as I'm no longer a fan of Carole Mortimer (I read and enjoyed her a couple decades ago but now find her writing childish and uninspired) I decided to skip the third one. Merry Christmas, Regency style!
