This is a mixed collection of short stories: 2 featuring Parker Pyne, 5 featuring Hercule Poirot, 1 featuring Miss Marple, and one narrated by an unnamed character not found in any other story or novel. Unfortunately, as a result it had the feel of a remainders sale -- the stories were linked by no theme and no characters; I doubt they were even written in close proximity to each other. None of them was really a stand-out either; the only one that I will remember at all was the one narrated by the unnamed man, which was more horror story than mystery. Still, a completist should have this in his/her collection, and none of the stories was bad, so 2 1/2 stars.

An Agatha Christie 'sampler'. Short mysteries 'starring' Miss Marple, Hercule Poirot and Parker Pyne in turn.

In the Regatta Mystery, a diamond worth several fortunes is stolen as a dinner trick, and then stolen form the theif. A collection of 9 Agatha Christie mysteries for your enjoyment as Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple keep you guessing who done it.

This collection of short stories, in my opinion, is not up to Ms. Christie's usual standard of writing. Someone else may enjoy them immensely, but they weren't what I was looking for.

You have to like short stories, and you have to like Mrs. Christie's short stories, in particular. I got this because of "Trouble at Sea," which I had just watched as a television production. At best, I can say, the quality is uneven - some are slight, in more than one sense, some are quite engrossing.
