Great concept. Interesting story. I have to say, I thought I knew whodunit early on but the ending was really a bit if a shock.
There were allusions to something horrible that happened to one of the characters in (what I later learned was) an earlier book. I found that quite annoying. Ultimately, though, the story can stand by itself.

A really interesting story of a family whose mother is stabbed. The two young daugters discover the body, and the missing father is suspect. Brodie Farrell enlists her friend Daniel Hood, a teacher, to teach the girls while the police hunt their father. VERY interesting read! Jo Bannister never lets you down.
