This book focuses mainly on two characters, and their stories are told in alternating chapters. It is one of those types of books in which by the end the connections between the characters are revealed and everything comes together in a shocking twist. Unfortunately, the story was very slow to get going - I gave it until page 150 to pick up before I stopped reading, and it literally finally got interesting on page 150. In the end, the characters and story just weren't that appealing and the connections between them weren't that interesting.
