"Wow--what a great read...I have read a lot of Barbara Boswell's shorter Silhouette's and enjoyed many. I decided to look on Amazon.com to see if she had any longer novels and decided to try Red Velvet. It took months for my library to get it. Boy, was it worth the wait!
H/H meet in the beginning at his security firm after heroine discovers her rogue uncle sold him 50% of family owned winery in NY state. The sparks fly and what witty dialog between the two. LOL many times. He won't sell and and she goes home. Of course, he's intrigued by her and follows.
Lot's of family tragedy in H/H's pasts. The secondary characters (her sister and his foster brother), grandma, missing sister and things going wrong at the winery all add up to a great read.
I highly recommend this book and hope to get my own copy. I will reread it someday." amazon review
