Great book. I read a lot of "alternative history" and found this book quite entertaining.
Everything I've read by Robert Conroy has been excellent. Red Inferno is no exception. The technology is good, the extrapolation of diverging events from our history is teased and cultivated into a very plausible story. The characters are well developed and the action is realistic.
It's just too damned short. But I must admit that a thousand pages wouldn't be enough.
