I went a little arachnid crazy after reading this book, certain that the dark orbs in the garage were black widows and the dusty webs in the basement were haunted by brown recluses. You'll learn things you wish you didn't know and some that you'll be really glad you do! The author likes to trap different insect and arachnid predators together to see who will be the triumphant gladiator. The battle scenes got a little old, but the stories and information were fascinating.

A fascinating read...not your stuffy science book version of these creepy crawlies. Black widows, rattlesnakes, tarantulas...oh my!
