I like the idea of recycling things in a useful way, and some of the photos in here show well done stuff. A lot of it, though, looks trashy or -- at best -- junk art. The bare light bulbs made me shudder. I don't think there's anything wrong with the "clean, painted look."

I tuned the text out after a few pages, as it seemed mostly concerned with telling me how I ought to perceive each collection of knick-knacks, rather like a tour guide off in her own little world who can't let you enjoy (or not, as the case may be) the paintings for what they are.
