"Recycle With Earthworms: The Red Wiggler Connection" is a very informative book on vermicomposting. It's rather short (only 99 pages), but it contains everything you'll need to know to get your worm bin started, along with how to keep it healthy and how to properly harvest the castings. I'd definitely recommend it to anybody who is interested in keeping worms.

One thing that surprised me: Wear gloves when working in your bin. The oils on your fingers can destroy the cocoons (worm eggs).
