Reckless Love is a western adventure. It is a distant pre-quel to four Silhouette Desires. It is the story of Janna Wayland and Ty MacKenzie. Mad Jack is a character in this book and a legend by the time of the four follow-ups.

The four SD's in order are
Fire and Rain - Luke MacKenzie and Carla McQueen
Outlaw - Tennessee Blackthorn (ramrod on Luke's ranch) and Diana Saxton
Granite Man - Cash McQueen (Carla's brother) and Mariah MacKenzie (Luke's sister)
Warrior - Nevada Blackthorn (Tennesse's brother) and Eden Summers

Warrior is my favorite of the bunch, but all are pretty good. The only complaint is the story patterns are very similar across the four books. At least the characters are different and the details. They are still fun to read. There is also a hunt for Mad Jack's gold mine that runs across several of the stories.

Janna Wayland braved the challenges of the Western frontier with a spirit that became legend. But the steep green mountains and red-rock canyons of Utah Territory were as dangerous as they were beautiful. No one was safe from the renegade warriors led by the infamous El Cascabel - not Janna, not the wild stallion Lucifer, not even Ty MacKenzie, the only man who had ever managed to tame Janna's proud, tempestuous heart.
