Continuing the development of Luke Skywalker and his jedi skills and the reemergence of characters from previous young adult Star Wars series. You want to look up the list of Star Wars books on wikipedia and read the Jude Watson novels starting with the Jedi Apprentice series. Highly recommend reading them first, as you will enjoy this book a lot more. Luke was just one of several major characters in this book, you'll want to know who the other folks are...
