Once again, not Charles Martin (author of great reads like Where The River Ends or Maggie or When Crickets Cry) but Charles *R.* Martin--a professed self-thought author that leaves the reader not sure exactly whom to blame (the teacher or the student) for the poorly contrived plot, uninteresting characters, and barely literate use of grammar.
