I can't recommend this book highly enough. Written by a veteran of the border wars, a man who served on the front lines for several decades, this book should be required reading for anyone who even thinks they want to have an opinion about what should be done with at the US-Mexican border. Had you asked me before I read it, I would have said our borders should be closed because of the illegal immigrant problem. Little did I know that that's not even the tip of the iceberg. The violence that takes place on this border is breathtaking. The only thing more appalling is the amount of corruption not just in Mexico, but on this side of the border. This is nest of vipers that desperately needs to be cleaned out. Too bad our REMF politicians are either spineless or have been bought and paid for by the bad guys.
