The darkness was born in a "Reign of Shadows". The evil grew strong in a "Shadow War". Now two lovers, united by fate, must lead a kingdom into the "Realm of Light".
This is the conclusion to the Ruby Throne trilogy. If you need a book to pass the time, this might fit your bill. I found it to be at times greatly detailed, however these were few and far between. The narrative would spend time detailing one encounter then glossing over some other to get to the next part, it seemed. I wasn't put off by reading it, however I am not inclined to look up any more titles by this author
