Very good book with some good insights into prayer and a real wake-up call to the plight of the poor.
Many of the prayers are quite beautiful and one poem cries out to be set to music and recorded (a repeated stanza: I'm drinking out of a saucer 'cause my cup has overflowed").
Sadly, a few years after this book came out there was a scandal involving the founder (he is not the author) of Food for the Poor. The organization has continued without him.
