After reading this book, I have a new and better view of Tim Allen. This review is also to counter the mindless and sometimes rediculous negative reviews by some Amazon.com contributors. Tim's first book was much more comedy oriented. If this had been his first book, the masses would not have believed it was written by Tim Allen, the grunting, knuckle-dragging man-nut from television comedy. Mr Allen presents us with a deep, thought provoking and emotional (yes, there WAS some real emotion here) journey with a douse of fiction which creates an interesting and truly good read. I was thoroughly entranced with this book, and it was not difficult to understand. It did not require much thought or concentration to get in to, yet also did not require that you throw logic out the window to enjoy. Kudos to Mr. Allen for creating a beautiful piece of literature.

Interesting read.....not his usual silliness. Actually, Tim is very smart, and not just the silly toolman (although I love the Toolman!)

Tim Allen, star of the hit sitcom Home Improvement, takes on quantum philosophy, intergender relationships, and the male midlife crisis in a joke-filled (but ultimately serious) "weekend in the life" narrative. It's an odd combination, shifting from enthusiastic gushing over restored sports cars to earnest elaborations upon Deepak Chopra and Fritjof Capra, but Allen manages to pull it off.

Loved this book! I could not believe how someone could bring so much humor in one book. And all along, searching for a hood ornament in the process...LOL

It made me laugh quite a few times. But most (especially the letter at the end) was over my head with philosophy. It has refers to "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance" and "The Celestine Prophecy" both of which I have read. Let me save you the time of reading this and say that the answer to life if happiness. We all know that anyway, right.

An interesting male rendition of mid-life and what most people really think about. There are many funny aspects from Allen, but it is more philosophical. I enjoyed it quite a bit....makes you think and laugh at the same time.

I enjoyed this book. It never knew Tim Allen was into quantum physics. But it doesn't read like a textbook. It is actually interesting, with a lot of humor thrown in.

An inscription on the inside cover, otherwise, brand new. Very funny man and great story!

What more can you say than Tim Allen writing about his life.
