The author takes you through a somewhat minute review of her own favorite books, hoping to give some insight on how to get a closer look at how writing is rendered. If you're not a fan of the classics, ie.. Jane Austen, Emily Bronte, Charles Dickens, etc, then this book could be a very tedious read.
