Plot Summary: A woman, Cady, lives as a normal woman in daytime and then secretly hunts demons at night. This brings her to the attention of "aliens" (non-human people from another dimension of our world) who wish to recruit her for their army. The recruiter, Obsidian, becomes the hero of this book. This book is erotica. M/F ONLY.
Main Characters: Obsidian and Cady. Obsidian (Sid) is really over the top alpha at first but becomes MUCH more likable (yet still alpha) as the story continues. Cady is awesome as a heroine! I wish there were more like her!!!!! She was smart, very funny, had backbone, had fighting ability equivalent (or better) than the males, was tough and feminine, and did NOT cave in to his every whim.
Best About this Book: Everything seemed to flow unusually well for such a short erotica read. There was enough solid plot that even had this not been erotica I would have read it just for the story and the characters. The sex scenes were all m/f but written differently enough that it wasn't like reading the same scene over and over again. Cady was truly a great heroine! Can't stress that enough. And it was laugh out loud funny at times, a definite plus.
Worst about this book: a couple of the things that seemed like they were intended to be mysteries were very easy to figure out, but that really didn't detract from the book at all.

Summary: I would definitely read this book again (sorry everyone, I am keeping this one!) and I have ordered the second from amazon as the wait for it here is far too long!

In this book the author managed to produce a page-turning plot, characters you actually care about, a satisfactory ending and lots of very hot activity between the hero and heroine. [One can't use the traditional cliche about 'between the sheets' because they only managed to make it that far now and then...:] Definitely a good read.
