Mix an unscrupulous developer, a steam-roller yuppie wife, a state where timber rattlers are an endangered species, and an ardent animal rights group all together and you have a delightful story. I finished this one in two sittings...the story just kept flowing...and wish this author would write another one. Recommended for entertaining reading.

Entertaining ! A family moves into a new home in a fancy neighborhood and is beset with numerous problems. The family is on the dysfunctional side and the mothers attempt to be the top of everything takes a real left turn when she has a handyman kill a protected species of rattlesnake. There's a lot going on in this story.
