The book is engaging, a true story about not only one woman, but also the initial history of the new Israel state. Its details are gripping and full of suspense. The author, a Jewish herslf, certainly reveals her personal view of that part of hisotry. But it doesn't get in the way of how this true story of one woman's person life intervines withthat of the Jewish state. I really enjoy reading this book and feel anyone who is interested in Jewish history would like it too.
