The heroine in this bk was too shrill for my tastes. There is a big misunderstanding that didn't come off that well. My only keeper by this author is GOLD RING OF BETRAYAL.

When Enrico Ranieri discovers that Freya has hidden the existence of his son, he demands her hand in marriage. Enrico won't give Freya his heart, but he will give her his special brand of bedroom pleasure.

Now Freya must convince Enrico she's innocent, because she can't survive as just his bride of convenience.

When Enrico Ranieri discovers that Freya has hidden the existence of his son, he deamnds her hand in marriage. I liked this book b/c it started up quick and the story never seemed to stall. It was very emotional because they two had parted ways when he couldnt find it in him to trust her. They sort of get back together once they meet up again and he finds out about the kid, but she is very reluctant. He sort of bullys her into the new relationship, but the same trust issues keep coming up.

From the Romantic Times website:

Summary: Enrico Ranieri and Freya Jenson were once passionately in love, until a perceived betrayal caused Enrico to kick Freya out. Three years later, a chance meeting reveals that they have a son. Forced to marry the man who broke her heart or lose her son forever, Freya gives in to Enrico's demands and to the passion that still flows between them. As they prepare to wed, can Freya convince Enrico of her innocence and her feelings for him? Or is their marriage doomed from the beginning? The Ranieri Bride, by Michelle Reid, has all the ingredients of a great romance: beautiful settings, an absorbing plot and two well-drawn, sensual leads that the reader will empathize with and root for.
