Zoe, a reserved hard-working girl from London, is on holiday (vacation) and on her way to Scotland. Once she arrives in the small village in Scotland (beautifully described in lush detail by the author), she immediately knows that this will not be an ordinary holiday for her.

After reading the prologue and after reading about Zoe's first "run-in" once she arrives in town, the ordinary reader might think that this is the start of your basic smut book. Nevertheless, this book is so much more than its sex scenes.

The book is about magic and witches, about desire and betrayal, about revenge and about love lost, and the hope for new love. The story between Zoe and Gray made me smile. As Zoe gains confidence in her self (both sexually and with dealing with her own insecurities), you really are hoping that Gray is what he seems and that Zoe finds someone she can trust and confide in with Gray.

I found Rampant's storyline very entertaining, and well written. As mentioned before, there are some very graphic sex scenes, especially in the beginning. People might be put off by the "unconventional" sex scenes (I refuse to say this book is not for the "faint of heart" because there is nothing wrong with the sex, it is just not mainstream or conventional sex). Readers might not finish the book because of the scenes. It would be sad if that is the case because they would be missing a great book.

From what I read this book was phenomenal. However I did not finish this book. You may be wondering well how can it be phenomenal when you didn't even finish it? Well, because it was extremely hard for me to continue the book when the first sex scene I came across went from male on female to male on male on female. Ya'll I squealed like a little girl when I read that part. It just wasn't something I wanted to witness in my minds eye. Like I've said before when I read I get into it and see things vividly, maybe too vividly. But I forced on, because it was really really good other then that little set back, but then, *dun dun dunnnn* the next sex scene went to male on female on female. Eeeeeeek! I'm sorry. It's just me, not the book, I really just like the good old male on female or male on female on male...with the two males just focusing on the female, never should they enteract or I'll kick them into the Sparta hole...yeah yeah I'm a prude. A kinky prude who has rules dangit! LOL.

The story follows several characters. Zoë, who at the insistence of her sister goes to the small village of Carbrey Scotland for a long over due vacation. The moment she arrives in Carbrey Zoë is overwhelmed with an arousal so intense she is tempted to surrender to the crazy fierce desires with just about anyone who crosses her path. Like her sexy neighbor Grayson Murdoch, a sexy professor researching the local folklore that revolves around Zoë's rental cabin Her Haven believed to house the spirit of Annabel McGraw, a powerful, promiscuous eighteenth-century witch who once owned the cottage. Or the devilish restaurateur Cain Davot who unknowingly to Zoë has plans to use her body as a host for his long ago lost beloved Annabel McGraw. Zoë may not believe in anything that aims remotely towards the occult but when vivid visions start to turn frightening and only one mans scorching touch is able to bring her back to earth she may just have to rethink everything she ever believed in. The temperature is unseasonably off the charts hot in Scotland and sex and magic is running Rampant for a vividly well written novel sure to get your panties wet.

Other then the minor set backs with the whole M/M/F and M/F/F parts Saskia Walker gets two thumbs way way up. Because before those parts came up I was so into to this book, had my attention from the start and undoubtedly would have held it to the very end if I wasn't so squeamish on the whole guys screwing guys and girls screwing girls bit. Rampant is sure to be a good read for those of you who enjoy the M/M/F & M/F/F interactions. I will definetly try more of Saskia's work.

Saskia Walker offers up another honest to goodness book! Her main characters Zoe, self-possessed London professional, and Grayson the motorcycle riding professor provide a wonderful pairing in this story of witches and ghosts set in Scotland. They both have their insecurities, but the attraction between them is undeniable. The witches use sex as a tool to gain power so there are loads of hot scenes throughout the book. The ghost of Annabelle is both intimidating and interesting. It's nice to read a book with plot and character driven conflict that also has sexual energy! 4 sparkling stars!!

A good book about the ghost of a witch from long ago. There's quite a bit of erotica in the book including one m/m/f scene which happens early in the story. The m/m/f scene was all too brief. The other scenes are m/f for the most part. If you don't mind a supernatural story with some explicit love scenes, this book is for you.
