HIS DESIRE WAS FIERCER THAN A ROCKY MOUNTAIN STORM...HERS WAS RECKLESS AND DANGEROUSLY WILD...

No one ever tamed Josselyn "Red" O'Rourke--not her hard drinking, miner father, "Da" not the convet nuns who raised her and certainly not that unmannered, unforgivably rude, undeniably handsome ruffian named Druango. Josselyn traveled all the way from Boston to Centeral City, Colorado, to claim her half of the Rainbow's End Mine--and to find the dirty scoundrel who murdered her Da. But Durango offered an even more dangerous challenge. He was as hard and as bad as a man can be. And when he assailed her lips with kisses, he dared her become a woman fighting to redeem his love and his soul...treasures far more precious than gold at the ...RAINBOW'S END.

At a Boston convent in 1877 Josselyn O'Rourke is about to take her final vows when word arrives that her father has died in an explosion at the Colorado gold mine of which he was part owner. Red O'Rourke's will mandates that his daughter inherit only when she marries one of his male partners: Wylie Gresham, a "southern gentleman," or Durango de Navarre, a scruffy, disreputable saloon owner. The fourth partner, Victoria Houghton, inherited her shares from her husband, who died in a mine accident. Since there has been a string of "accidents," mutual suspicion runs rampant among the partners--including Red, who staged his own death to trick the saboteur into revealing himself.
