Dr. Joel Ashman is shocked when he is asked to assist the Seattle Police Kept when a psychiatrist is brutally murdered. He was Joel's mentor and former partner. Before long Joel begins to discover shocking things about his murdered colleague's life style. Then another partner is murdered and the mystery and revelations become more horrifying. Clearly the dead doctors were in serious need of psychiatric help themselves. The story moves rapidly from one shocking revelation to another and deep into the very seedy world of S & M. The ending is stunning and the reader may not see it coming until the very last. An excellent read.
