This is the third book following Zach Johnson, the last private detectve on Earth. Here, he is assiged to protect the singer, Sexy Sprocketts from an attempt on his life, while businessman Rupert Roundtree is coming close to killing both of them with a new show called "Let's Kill Zach." Meanwhile, it appears that Zach's intelligent supercomputer, HARV, may be running rogue.

This series is supposed to be light and funny, but in the third installment it seems to be getting too corny to be very enjoyable. The book does redeem itself somewhat with a decent ending, and by bringing Zach's girlfriend, Electra, more firmly into the story.
