I had a lot of problems with this book. Vowell's opinions are her own, and I respect that, but she insults people and organizations who don't deserve it in these pages. She's harsh and abrasive and (sadly) just plain wrong. I've liked other work by her, but not this one. Maybe she's outgrown this phase of her life now, but I'm not sure.
