A further adventure with the Rats of NIMH. Rasco, a young city rat, runs away from home and joins the Rats of NIMH colony. These super-intelligent rats who live with even more technology than humans are trying to stop humans building a dam which will destroy their home. They have no time for a brash city rat. However it's Rasco who comes up with the solution.

The entire NIMH series was my FAVORITE when I was a kid!! I loved Justin... I loved the Don Bluth film of The Secret Of NIMH, even though they took their liberties with the story... But the rest of the series, Racso/RT Margaret were simply excellent stories as well.

My love of these stories also led into my deep devotion to the Redwall series of books. I still own all three NIMH books somewhere in the boxes of my childhood things, though long ago I had to let my Redwall books go (all together as a series on ebay... oh so sad the life of a broke college student)!

I would reccomend either series with all of my book-loving heart. They are both very special to me.
