I liked that Edwards tells her story around a peaceful tribe of Indians that are not as well known as the more vicious tribes of history.
Cassie Edwards has such vast knowledge of the Native American Indian - it is so interesting to read her descriptions of Indian life as it was - all her stories are very heartwarming.
