In a post-nuclear war environment, thirteen-year-old Qwan Lee is one of thousands of children wondering if their parents are still alive. Meanwhile, he must literally fight for survival as he competes with the others for food, shelter and respect. But, when Qwan stumbles on a place from his past, he must face more than just memories.....I think this is a good book for ages 9-13. It contains plenty of action and will hold their interest.
