I enjoyed most of it. Needless to say, I identify with the title. But I really would have liked a more "fist in the air" style or voice. Cagen seems to vascilate between explaining, apologizing for, and then advocating quirkyaloneness. But I think she falls short of the manifesto she claims in the subtitle.

Are you alone? Do you like it that way? Do you sometimes have a hard time understanding why everyone else is so worried about whether you have a mate or not? Do you want to celebrate your oneness instead of apologizing for it. This is the book for you. We all loved it so much we had a Quirkyalone valentines party last year.

Interesting book. I was interested because of the International Quirky Alone Day in February. It's some sort of world-wide movement that has yet to catch on in the States.

Really cute book about those who avoid serial monogamy in favor of discovering themselves and humanity. Fantastic illustrations.
