This is the fifth in her series. Sylvia embarks on a cross country investigation of antiques shops in search of her mothers heirloom quilts.
Another great book in this series!
As Sylvia Compson searches for her mother's long-lost quilts throughout many states and antique quilt shops and museums, she travels with her fiance, Andrew, and learns much about her mother and her family through old diaries and records of quilt sales!
This is a wonderful series that every quilter should read!!
Added this one to my collection.

This book will not disappoint any fan of Chiaverini. You have the relationship of father getting married a second time and late in wife and dealing with his children's attitude towards the pending. Of course, you also have quilts in that Sylvia is tracking down her mother's most prized quilts that Sylvia's sister Claudia sold many years before. It is a story filled with love on various levels, hope and anxiety and the cherished relationships between family and friends and the understanding of strangers.
love this series, a little history, a little mystery
Wonderful book and wonderful writer. You feel like you are of part of them.

Sylvia searches for her mother's quilts when she finds that her sister Claudia sold them. Her search takes her across the nation and, inevitably, into the depths of her heart and memories. While this is happening, she considers whether to remarry, and faces the opinions of her stepchildren.
I enjoyed this book so much. It is realistic because it doesn't end as you would think the storyline would. Highly recommend this series.

Every book in this series surpasses the previous one -- it just gets better and better. You don't have to be a quilter to enjoy this series, but it will make you curious about all the different quilt patterns! I am not a quilter, but this series of books have prompted me to request books about antique quilts, which has definitely added to my enjoyment of this series of books.
