Was it just me or was this book confusing? Some of the characters from the old book, are forgettable. Who were they? , just names and they didnt stand out for much. I do remember our main character, her aunt, her aunt Friend Mavis, and Lauren too, the copy cat cheater from book one. But the old characters were a blur. New characters did stand out more, but the author didnt do a good enough job of reintroducing our past players. Plus I swear these people ate cookies every single day, lemon, gingerbread, chocolate chip... No recipes, so no reason to eat so many cookies, the just did more than once a day.
The quilting was good, and worth the read. The description of the areas was welcoming. The mystery was interesting enough. I only gave it 3 stars.
