I started reading Penny Warners books becuase they are mystery - with a female lead - and Ms. Warner is from the area I live in. They are easy reads - interesting also - with some solid information about deafness. Unfortunately I cannot say these are the best books I have ever read - but I still enjoy them!

A good Connor Westphal deaf journalist book. Set in California Gold Country. I used to live in this area and I am hearing impaired, so I really enjoy this series.
