Imagine a vampire capable of traveling through time. Now imagine he's ticked off Dracula. Who,it appears, is helping a couple of 'special' private investigators figure out what's going on. And all of this takes place at and in the Grand Canyon.

This one in the Dracula series has it all. If you like adventures buried in the old lands of the West with fantastic villans and unusual heroes, give this book a reading.

Vampires...this is more of a modern day yet classic Dracula story with a few twists...

Very Enjoyable. Seemed to end rather abruptly. Also, I was looking forward to a battle between vampires which never materialized.

Without a doubt the most unusual and effective of Saberhagen's novels of vampirism theme. The mystery and palpable menace begun in the first few pages are sustained and building to the final resolution. The trapped, isolated and claustrophobic atmosphere is conveyed so well that its quiet desperation and resulting panic are comparable to that evoked by Kobo Abbe's "The Woman in the Dunes." Both surreal and nightmarish.
