This story is engaging from the very first chapter--when our hero rescues our heroine from a life on the streets. Of course, there is a strong attraction from the very beginning; however, Aiden is unhappily married and Pippa is an orphan searching for her family. As a result, he is too honorable to sleep with her and it just makes him all the more endearing.

After many political twists and turns, the truth of her heritage becomes obvious. His wife (and her vindictive father) turn out to be a much trickier dilemma to resolve. At the end, Pippa and Aiden's love must conquer many obstacles including imprisonments, a murder charge, insurrection and rebellion and a number of near-death experiences by both.

I've now read #2 and #3 in the Tudor Rose Trilogy and loved both. I'll certainly be reading the first as soon as possible--and everything else I can by this author.

Very good story; I really enjoyed this trilogy. Wonderful characters and a great plot. I loved the way this family line twists through three generations. I really liked the gypsy twist and prophesy; I liked the first story with the Russian twist; the second book was OK; but this third and final tale was the best. I liked the Irish theme and the complexity of these last characters was complex, moving, and worth the read. I couldnt put this book down.

This was the best of the trilogy. Pippa and Aiden were thoroughly likeable and lovable. It was a fun read. She ran through life covering up her need to find her family by being outrageous. He needed to save his people. These impossible tasks drew them together.

This is a delightful read and the writing style is very different than the first two books. Although it had its side points, most of it was filled with silliness and laughter. I would definitely read this series in order though.

This book mirrors the first two a bit. Pippa is very much like Juliana from the first book. They were streetwise and filthy with a hidden agenda. The themes of the clashes between Catholics vs. Protestants / Irish vs. English are echoed in Book 2. Perhaps Wiggs was serious about Zara's prophecy about these three women's lives coming a full circle or she ran out of ideas. Regardless I think this one is my favorite of the series.

The whole triology is great. I read the books out of order but that didn't matter. The book stood alone well. Read it!

What a wonderful book! I laughed and cried through the entire book. I have never been so engrossed in a book. Before I knew it I was half way through it. I couldn't put it down. This book should be made into a movie! If it does become a movie, I would watch it over and over again! FANTASTIC!!!!!!
