Had to read it for work. Quick book that can read in an evening or afternoon. Good points for stopping the fingerpointing/blame game.

Very quick read; to the point. The concept is simple: focus on yourself rather than pointing the blame at everyone else. Interesting stories and a simple rule to remind yourself how to approach problems.

Great book on practicing accountability in work and life by being discplined in the questions we ask ourselves. Questions should involve what you can do to make the positive results, not dwell on things you can't control. I've been reading a lot of key takeaways aloud to my hubby while I read it, and I'm loaning this book to my coworkers! It's a keeper!

Reminds me of "Who Moved My Cheese?" in readability and tone. A good book, quick read, that can help you retool your mindset about challenges you face in business and life. Recommended.

This is a great book on accountability. I've passed it on to the leadership team at our church. It is not good just for leadership teams but anyone. I can't think of a single person that couldn't relate to what is contained in this book. It is a must read for everyone.

Have you ever heard questions like these?

Why do we have to go through all this change?
When is somebody going to train me?
Who dropped the ball?
When is that department going to do its job right?
Who's going to solve the problem?
When are they going to tell us what's going on?

QBC! is an idea that you'll want everyone to use...
But you shoud try first!

Now it's time to ask the question behind the question!

How can I adapt to the changing world?
What can I do to develop myself?
How can I help?
What can I do to understand other people's challenges and frustrations?
How cn I become part of the solution?
What can I do today to excel at my work?

Very easy, quick read but with good information. Probably will work best for people who are already open to the idea of change and need a little guidance. I very much enjoyed this book and will be getting it for all my employees to read.

I read this book in one day. It is a very easy read and all of the things he says are true! I would love to say this is a book I will be posting right away because I loved it and want to share it, but I am going to keep it to read and re-read over and over. His message is easy to understand, but very hard to put into practice in your life.

another jewelry lady suggested this book to a few of us for our business, so i picked it up and finally decided to read it. it took me less than an hour- a fast, easy read.

i have to admit that i was turned off by the second page. "on a cross coountry flight the flight attendant got on the intercom and said, 'Sorry everyone but the movie we promised you will not be shown today. Catering put the wrong one on board.'" He then goes on to use this as an example of people not taking responsibility and accountability. As a flight attendant, this does happen and i thought- well what else was she supposed to do????

i decided to continue on and though i learned a lot and think what he's trying to teach people is great (but i still think he shouldn't have used that example!)

some of my favorite things from the book are
every day ask yourself How Can I do My Job Better Today? What Can I Do to Improve the Situation? How Can I Support Others?

We're going through a merger and a lapse in contract at my job and a lot ,of the employees are anti management and its very much a we vs. them mentality. i admit that i have been sucked into this, and am going to try to change my attitude and position after reading this.
A few other key points:
Stop playing the victim.
Work with what you got.
How can you adapt to changes in the workplace?
Take Ownership
Make Better choices

A definite must read for everyone who has kids and has a job!

My management team gave these out at our yearly meeting. At first I though "oh no!" However, it turned out to be rather eye opening. Talks about how each of us are responsible for out positions / situations. Our reactions to the events surrounding us. Good book.
